Let us love in Deed and Truth

About the Ministry

The nation of Honduras has 7 million people. In November 1998, Hurricane Mitch devastated the country. Thousands of people died, and thousands of people lost their homes.

The statistics show that 60% of the Hondurans live under poverty level–45% of whom live in extreme poverty. In fact, 45% of those who are over 18 years old are unemployed with 3.5 million Hondurans having an income of a mere $16.00 a month. In the area of health, there is one medical doctor per 5,000 people, one nurse per 7,340 people, and one dentist per 45,311 people. Because of the infrastructure and the lack of hospitals, 60% of the people that live in the rural areas do not have access to medical care at all.

Hospitals, medical clinics, schools, orphanages and elderly homes are desperately needed in my country. As a Honduran, I am begging you to partner with us in providing spiritual, physical, and material health to those who are in extreme need; they all deserve a better present and brighter future.

The Lord Jesus said, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16, NKJV).

This is the right time for us to let our light shine. Thank you so much for your love, your concern, and your spiritual and financial support.

Andy Garrott, DMDA Word from Andy

The Lord is really doing something special in Honduras that will have an impact for generations to come. One of the greatest mysteries of the Gospel is how the Lord uses human instruments to advance His Kingdom.

We invite you to participate in this adventure of faith, one that will have eternal significance.
